We are currently temporarily closed due to the lockdown restrictions.

In light of the government’s four-step roadmap out of lockdown, it is hoped that we will able to welcome guests back by Monday 17th May 2021 at the earliest and as such, we are now taking online bookings from this date.

Situated in the lower ground floor of the hotel, the Bay Tree Bar & Grill is a popular venue for both locals and hotel guests, with modern and stylish yet comfortable surroundings offering premium drinks from local distilleries and vineyards and unique signature cocktails, with a food offering that focuses on produce from Kent, also known as ‘The Garden of England’ and its surrounding areas.  

Due to the recent restrictions, meals are served in the Bay Tree Grill from 7am to 10am daily for breakfast and 12pm to 9.30pm daily for dinner in the Bay Tree Bar area. Please click the links on this page to view our menus which have been redesigned to help us manage with social distancing measures. You can still expect to receive our usual standards of great food prepared fresh using quality produce. We are only able to offer table service at present and strongly recommend customers book their table early to avoid disappointment.  

Whilst the hotel is Pet Friendly, pets are not allowed in the Bay Tree Bar & Grill.  We will however do our utmost to cater for your four-legged friends in the Martello Bar or our Lounges if the area has not been booked out for a private event and if you would like to eat or drink with your trusted companion at your side.

We are fortunate to have an abundance of space allowing us to keep our customers safe and socially distanced.  Our tables will be laid out to comply with the current social distancing measures and our menus are available on laminated pages which are sanitised between uses or via our contactless online menus which can be accessed by scanning the QR code on your table.  Customers are encouraged to wear face coverings when not at their table and to check-in when visiting us using the NHS COVID-19 app.
